Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi -n-Tichka – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley/Gorges

            After having lunch, we will travel from Marrakech towards the impressive Dades Gorges through Tizi N Tichka, a mountain pass in Morocco known as the gateway to Tafilalet Desert. Along the way, we will stop in Telouet, a beautiful Berber village, and the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village and a UNESCO World Heritage. This Kasbah is well-known for being the setting of many famous movies such as, Lawrence of Arabia, Tea in The SAHARA, Babel, The Mummy, Prince of Persia and others. After having lunch in a restaurant close to the Kasbah, we will head to the Hollywood of Morocco, Ouarzazate, to explore its main sites like the Cinema studios and the Kasbah of Taourirt. After that, we will continue our way to Dades valley where we will spend the night.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Tenghir – Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga(Night in desert)

            In the early morning, we will leave Dades Gorges towards Todra gorges, which are a series of high limestone river canyons near the city of Tinghir. On the way, we will stop for few minutes to sightsee a panoramic view of Dades gorges. Then, we will continue to Todra Gorges where you will have free time to explore the place on your own. After having lunch the gorge, we will head towards the heart of the southeastern desert of Morocco, Merzouga. As we arrive to Merzouga, we will rest and then ride the camels to explore the dunes of Erg Chebbi and sightsee a marvelous sunset. Following this, we will head to Bivouac where you will be served dinner and sleep in a traditional tent made of camel wool.

Day 3: Erg Chebbi Desert – (Merzouga) – Ziz Valley – Medilt – Ifrane – Fes

Before sunrise, we will wake you up so as not to miss the chance to sightsee a breathtaking sunrise in the heart of the desert. Then, we will ride the camel back to the hotel. After having breakfast and taking a shower, we will leave towards the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco, Fes. Along the way, we will pass through a number of beautiful villages such as Rissani, Erfoud, Errachidia, Rich and Midelt or the ‘City of Apple’, where you will have lunch. As we continue our trip, we will have a break in the cedar forest of Azrou to enjoy feeding and taking pictures with the monkeys. Then, we will head towards Fes passing through Ifrane or as most Moroccans prefer to name it “the Switzerland of Morocco”. In this beautiful city, you will have free time to enjoy its neat gardens before heading towards our final destination, Fes. As we reach Fes, we will accompany you to check into your accommodation.
