Day 01: Arrival Casablanca Airport

As you arrive to Mohammed the V airport in Casablanca, we will be there to welcome you, provide you with assistance and pick you up to the hotel. Dinner will be served in the hotel.

Day 02: Casablanca – Rabat

After having breakfast, our morning tour will start by visiting Hassan the II Mosque, the largest Mosque in Africa and the fifth largest one in the world.  Its minaret is the longest in the world with a length of 210 meters (689 feet). Inside the mosque is a real masterpiece in which different Moroccan craftsmen celebrate and depict parts of the Arabic-Muslim art through calligraphy (Qur’anic verses) and sculpturing on plaster. Following this, we will head towards the capital city of Morocco. In Rabat, we will first visit the Kasbah of Oudayas, which is known for its blue and white houses and its small winding alleys. We will also visit some of the historical doors surrounding the Royal Palace to enjoy their architecture and explore their history. Then, we will spend some time in the garden of Andalusia before visiting Hassan Tower, an incomplete mosque and minaret, and the mausoleum of Mohammed the V and Hassan the II, which is considered a masterpiece of modern Alaouite dynasty architecture.  Late in the evening, we will accompany you to the hotel to check into your accommodation.

Day 03: Rabat – Fez

            In the morning, we will head towards the city of Meknes, the sixth largest city in terms of population in the Kingdom. As we reach Meknes, we will explore the narrow passages and old houses of its old medina. Then, we will visit Madrasa Bou Anania, a Qur’anic school which dates back to the 14th century and Bab-Mansour which is well known all around Morocco for its beautiful architecture. Following this, we will drive towards Volubilis, which is an archaeological site that still contains some of the ruins and landmarks of the ancient Roman Empire. The site still maintains many important monuments such as, the Arch of Caracalla or the Triumphal Arch and many mosaics which tell a lot of stories about the daily life of the Romans at their time. After that, we will leave towers the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco, Fez, to sightsee its Jewish quarter before driving you to the hotel.

Day 04: Fez

            Today’s tour will take place at one of oldest living Medinas in the world, the old medina of Fez. First, we will explore the narrow alleys of the old medina with its traditional souks. Then, we will visit other main corners of the old medina such as the 9th century Karouine Mosque and University, El-Attarine school and the Fontaine Ennajarine. We will also visit the mausoleum of the city founder “Moulay Idriss II” and some of the tanneries to see how leather is traditionally made. After lunch, we will go to explore Fez Jdid (the new Fez) before heading back to hotel.

Day 05: Fez – Merzouga

In the early morning, we will leave Fez towards Merzouga via a number of beautiful cities and Berber villages. Our first stop will be Ifran or “the Switzerland of Morocco”. In this beautiful city, you will have some free time to enjoy its magnificent gardens as well as take memorial pictures near a sculpted lion which represents an important monument inside the city. As we leave Ifrane, our second stop will be the cedar forests of Azrou whose monkeys add a touch to the beauty of the place. After that we will continue to Midelt, a Berber village famous for apple production, where we will have lunch.  As you finish lunch, we will head to Merzouga over Tizi-n-Talremt pass, Ziz Valley and  a number of villages such as Rich, a small Berber village marks the end of the high Atlas mountains, Errachidia, the main city of the region, and Erfoud, which is famous for its date festival and fossils shops.  In the evening, we will be at the doors of Merzouga where we will ride camels to explore the desert and head to a bivouac (nomadic tents) to spend the night.

Day 06: Merzouga – Roses Valley

            After enjoy a marvelous sunrise above the dunes of Erg Chebbi, we will ride the camels back to the hotel. As you have breakfast, take a shower and get yourself ready, we will travel to Todra gorge, a series of high limestone river canyons, near the city of Tinghir.  In this unique place, you will have lunch as well as enough time to explore it on your own. Then, we will continue our way through both Dades and Roses valleys where we will spend the night.

Day 07: Roses Valley – Marrakech

            After having breakfast, we will travel to the Hollywood of Africa, Ouarzazate, through the road of “the thousand Kasbahs”. Along the way, you will enjoy looking to different small beautiful Berber villages like Bomaln Dades, Kalaat M’gouna, Skoura etc., and views such as gorges, Kasbahs and camels grazing on hills. After having lunch, we will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and then the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village and a UNESCO World Heritage. This Kasbah is also well-known for being the setting for many international films such as, Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. In the evening, we will leave the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou towards Marrakech via Tizi N’tichka Pass. Night will be spent in a hotel in Marrakech.         

Day 08: Marrakech – Marrakech

            Today, we will have a full-day tour to explore the Red city, Marrakech. We will start visiting the Medina to make you feel ‘the sort of’ popular lifestyle that cannot be found anywhere else except the old medina in Marrakech. Our sightseeing tour will cover also a number of beautiful places such as, El-Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadien tombs and the Bahia Palace. Besides, you will explore one of the famous squares in Morocco, Jemaa el Fnaa. In this place, you will see how many aspects of the Moroccan culture are uniting and blending into a one picture full of beauty, diversity, and entertainment. In the evening, we will head to the hotel.

Day 09: Marrakech – Casablanca

            After having breakfast, you will have a free morning to revisit your favorite places and buy some souvenirs and gifts for your family and friends. Then, we will leave Marrakech towards the economical capital of Morocco, Casablanca. Late in the evening, you will be in the hotel near the airport.

Day 10: Casablanca – Airport

We will pick you up to the airport according to your flight’s departure time.
