Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech → High Atlas → Ait Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate → Dades Gorge
(≈ 380 km | relaxed)
08:00 pickup. Cross spectacular Tizi n’Tichka pass.
In-depth visit to UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah with local guide.
Lunch overlooking the kasbah, then short visit to Ouarzazate (option: Atlas Film Studios or CLA Studios – €8 entrance).
Drive through Skoura oasis and Valley of Roses.
Evening arrival at a stunning kasbah hotel perched above Dades Gorge. Dinner with canyon view.

Day 2: Dades → Todra Gorge → Erfoud → Merzouga Erg Chebbi
(≈ 270 km)
Morning walk in Dades “Monkey Fingers” rocks.
Explore the breathtaking 300 m-high Todra Gorge – time for photos and river walk.
Continue via fossil town Erfoud to the golden dunes.
Arrive ~16:00. Relax at dune-edge hotel, then 1.5-hour sunset camel trek into the heart of Erg Chebbi.
Arrive at your private luxury camp in time for sunset from the highest dune.

Day 3: Full Free Day – Total Desert Immersion

Day 4: Merzouga → Rissani → Alnif → Nkob → Draa Valley → Ouarzazate

Final sunrise & breakfast. Return by camel or 4×4.
Take the beautiful southern route: traditional market in Rissani, dramatic landscapes via Alnif & Tazzarine, palm-filled Draa Valley with dozens of ancient ksour.
Lunch stop in Nkob or Agdz.
Late afternoon arrival in Ouarzazate. Overnight in a luxurious riad or 4-star hotel with pool.

Day 5: Ouarzazate → High Atlas → Return to Marrakech
(≈ 200 km | 4 hours)
Relaxed morning – optional visit to Taourirt Kasbah or simply enjoy the hotel.
Depart around 10:00–11:00. Cross back over Tizi n’Tichka one last time with final Atlas views.
Arrival back in Marrakech around 14:00–15:00 (perfect if you have an evening flight or want the afternoon free in the city).
