Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech → High Atlas → Aroumd Village → Toubkal Valleys Trek (Start of Hiking)
(Drive 1.5 h + 4–5 h moderate trek)
07:30 pickup from Marrakech. Drive to Imlil (1,740 m), gateway to Mount Toubkal.
Meet your certified mountain guide and mule team. Begin trekking through Berber villages (Aroumd, Sidi Chamharouch waterfall).
Hike up beautiful green valleys with snow-capped peaks in the background.
Picnic lunch prepared by the team. Late afternoon arrival at a traditional gîte or nomad-style camp (2,000–2,200 m).
Dinner cooked by local family. Overnight in simple but cozy mountain accommodation.

Day 2: Full-Day Trek in High Atlas → Transfer to Dades Gorges
(5–6 h trek + 4 h drive)
After breakfast, continue trekking through high pastures and remote Berber hamlets.
Panoramic views of Toubkal massif (4,167 m – highest in North Africa).
Descend back to Imlil around 14:00–15:00. Meet your private 4×4.
Drive across Tizi n’Tichka pass, stop at UNESCO Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah (quick visit).
Continue through Valley of Roses to Dades Gorges.
Dinner & overnight in beautiful kasbah hotel overlooking the canyon.

Day 3: Dades Gorges → Todra Gorges → Merzouga → Nomad Camp Experience
(Drive + short walks + evening camel ride)
Morning walk in Dades “Monkey Fingers” rock formations.
Drive to spectacular Todra Gorges (300 m cliffs – free time for hiking along the river.
Continue to Erg Chebbi dunes, arriving around 16:00.
Short camel ride (45 min–1 h) to a wild nomadic camp deep in the dunes.
Help bake bread in the sand, drink tea with a real nomad family, watch sunset over endless dunes.
Traditional dinner around the fire, Berber music, incredible stargazing.
Overnight in private nomadic tent (mattresses, blankets, shared facilities – authentic experience).

Day 4: Desert Sunrise → Erg Chebbi Luxury Camp → Return to Marrakech
(Camel/4×4 + 9 h drive)
Optional sunrise wake-up, then short camel or 4×4 ride to the main luxury camp area to shower.
Spend the morning relaxing or sandboarding (free).
After lunch at a dune-edge hotel, begin the journey back: via Rissani, Ziz Valley, Midelt and High Atlas.
Arrival in Marrakech around 19:00–20:00. Drop-off at your riad/hotel.
